season ix registration scheduled to open in february

Congratulations to all our Team Members for another amazing season -- we're so proud of you and grateful for the energy you invested to support our ministry and charity partners!! We are now preparing for a potential Season IX for the Renew Chicago Tri Team, and currently awaiting confirmation from the race organizers on whether or not we will indeed proceed.

Our team is all about supporting an amazing cast of non-profit organizations making a huge impact for our city while challenging ourselves to complete a race less than 1% of the world ever has, and of course making a bunch of new friends at our fun events along the way.

Launched in 2016, the Renew Chicago Triathlon Team competes in various formats of the Chicago Triathlon, happening August 23-24, 2025. Over the course of our first eight seasons, more than 500 big-hearted Chicagoans have generated massive awareness, hundreds of volunteer engagements and more than $825,000 for a dozen local ministry and charity partners, supporting a variety of amazing initiatives that support under-resourced communities throughout the city of Chicago.

Team members elect to race in support of one or all of our charity partners. In addition to supporting last year's partners including Breakthrough, Chicago Christian Academy, Athletes in Action, Pursue Scholars, GRIP Outreach for Youth, Safe Families for Children and Tri-Masters, we are currently reviewing Season IX applications for charity partners to add to the roster, as we fully intend to expand our reach and impact this year.
